2019-04-23 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />TUESDAY 1:30 P.M. APRIL 23, 2019 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Amy McGuffin, <br />Chamber CEO (arrived at 1:40); Robert “Bob” Schroeter CWHBA. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING CHAMBER OF COMMERCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 1:40 p.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting to receive a <br />quarterly update from Chamber CEO Amy McGuffin. <br /> <br />Amy McGuffin, CEO of the Chamber questioned if there were any <br />questions regarding the letter received from Commerce about the ADO <br />Designation. The Board indicated that they did not. <br /> <br />Ms. McGuffin discussed & reviewed with the Board capital gains and <br />the types of businesses benefitting from building in the <br />“opportunity zone”. She informed the Board that they have <br />approximately 4 applicants interested in the Micro-Grants for <br />Tourism. <br /> <br />Ms. McGuffin reviewed the branding project and scheduling for <br />Roslyn’s branding project as well as what the Board could expect if <br />they choose to participate in a re-branding exercise, how it works, <br />the full process and expenses. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 2:30 p.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Cory Wright, Chairman <br />
