COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM
SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 3:00 P.M. APRIL 16, 2018
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Housing
Authority Commissioners: Nicalee Smith, Rob Perkins, Carol
Miller Rhodes (via telephone); Katie Haggin, Interim Executive
Director of the Housing Authority. HopeSource Representatives:
Craig Kelly, John Raymond & Susan Grindle, HopeSource Executive
Director; Nancy Goodloe, City of Ellensburg Housing Authority;
Jennifer Ellis, Housing Authority Attorney and 2 members of the
public.
SPECIAL MEETING HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSIONERS
At 3:00 p.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting continued
from April 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. to discuss plans with the
Kittitas County Housing Authority for housing projects in
Ellensburg and Cle Elum.
Chairman Wright stated that the last meeting there were some
questions outstanding and this time was set up to allow for
further clarification and discussion to take place.
Commissioner Wachsmith indicated that his questions had been
answered over the past week and Commissioner Osiadacz stated she
didn’t have any further outstanding questions.
Chairman Wright asked clarifying questions around
timeline/deadline/funding options and opportunities and future
project plans.
The Housing Authority Project Contractor Jim Brawner provided
clarifying answers and assured the Board they would continue to
keep the Board updated.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:21 p.m.
