APRIL 16, 2019 <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Michael Stafford, Juvenile <br />Court Administrator; Kari Elkins, JCA Assistant; Laurie Haberman, <br />Diversion Coordinator; Arden Thomas, Water Resource Manager; Mark Cook, <br />Public Works Director/Interim Engineer; Greg Zempel, Prosecutor; Mandy <br />Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Debbie Myers, Board Clerk; Robin <br />Raap, Judicial Assistant; Mayra Chavez, Juvenile Probation Counselor; <br />Katrina Mankus, Juvenile Court Administrator; Bryan Osborn, Juvenile <br />Probation Counselor; Jose Preciado, Field & Custody Counselor; and 2 <br />members of the public. <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Wright called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Chairman Wright led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES <br />Michael Stafford, Juvenile Court Administrator introduced Mayra Chavez <br />and Bryan Osborn as their new Juvenile Probation Counselors. <br /> <br />Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim Engineer introduced Arden <br />Thomas as the new Water Resource Manager. PROCLAMATIONS PROCLAMATION MUNICIPAL CLERKS WEEK COMMISSIONERS <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve a Proclamation declaring May 5 – <br />11, 2019 as Municipal Clerk’s Week in Kittitas County. Commissioner <br />Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br />
