FINANCE STUDY SESSION MINUTES

MONDAY 3:00 PM March 4, 2019
Board members present: Commissioners Cory Wright, Chairman, Brett Wachsmith and Laura
Osiadacz.
Others: Judy Pless, Budget and Finance Manager
OTHER BUSINESS
Meeting called order at 3:00 pm
Judy Pless presented to the Board the Fitness intelligence Tool (FIT) report from the State
Auditors website for 2017, showing the County profile and the County Financial Health
indicators. The report shows the County has a rating of “Good Outlook” in the following
categories:
Fund balance sufficiency
Change in fund equity/net position
Governmental funds sustainability
Debt load
Enterprise fund cost recovery
And a rating of “Concerning Outlook” for current ratio
The Board also received reports for various sales tax collections, 2018 court receivables and the
preliminary 2018 December Revenue and Expenditure budget reports. There was discussion
about the reports.
