COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:50 A.M. JUNE 3, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chair Brett
Wachsmith & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Tim Egan,
Facilities Maintenance Director.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD MAINTENANCE
Tim Egan, Facilities Maintenance Director requested the Board
consider authorizing him to purchase an additional truck for his
department and it would be for him to use specifically. He stated
that he has approximately $90,000.00 in savings from what was left
over from the amount budgeted for the backhoe. He said it didn’t get
spent so he would like to take approximately $35,000.00 of the
savings and get a “new” truck and then his would go to one of his
guys as they are down 2 vehicles right now.
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to authorize up to $35,000.00 dollars
for a maintenance truck purchase. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded.
Motion carried 3-0.
Meeting adjourned at 10:00 a.m.
