KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
WEDNESDAY 9:00 A.M. JUNE 26, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith. Excused: Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Patti Johnson,
Solid Waste Director/Project Manager and Neil Caulkins, Deputy
Prosecutor.
SPECIAL MEETING UTILITY EASEMENT SOLID WASTE
At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting to consider
Chair’s signature on a Non-Exclusive Utility Easement.
Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Project Manager presented the
Board with a Non-Exclusive Utility Easement for a Boundary Line
Adjustment between Kittitas County and the City of Ellensburg for
Chair Signature.
EASEMENT NON-EXCLUSIVE UTILITY SOLID WASTE
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve and authorize Chair’s
signature on a Non-Exclusive Utility Easement between Kittitas
County and the City of Ellensburg, noting that Staff would work with
the City to get the document recorded and return a fully executed
copy to the Board of County Commissioners. Chairman Wright seconded.
Motion Carried 2-0.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION SOLID WASTE
At 9:06 a.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting and announced
the Board would recess into Executive Session for 15 minutes to
consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of real estate
by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding such
consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price. No action
was anticipated.
At 9:21 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action was taken.
At 9:21 a.m. Chairman Wright announced the Board would recess back
into Executive Session for 10 minutes to consider the selection of a
site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase when

public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a
likelihood of increased price. No action was anticipated.
At 10:31 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action was taken.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:31 a.m.
