MONDAY 9:40 A.M. JULY 22, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright & Commissioner Laura
Osiadacz. Excused: Vice-Chair Brett Wachsmith.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Patti Johnson,
Solid Waste Director/Project Manager.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD SOLID WASTE
Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Project Manager presented the
Board with the Solid Waste Management Local Solid Waste Financial
Assistance Agreement between the State of Washington Department of
Ecology and Kittitas County Solid Waste for Chair’s signature. She
reviewed what was being applied for and indicated that the recycling
portion of the Grant will be addressed in a separate Grant
appreciation as it’s a competitive process.
AGREEMENT SOLID WASTE MGMT. LOCAL AGREEMENT SOLID WASTE
Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve and authorize Chair signature
on Agreement No. SWMLSWFA-2019-KiCosw-0007, the Solid Waste
Management Local Solid Waste Financial Assistance Agreement between
the State of Washington Department of Ecology and Kittitas County
Solid Waste as presented. Chairman Wright seconded. Motion carried
2-0.
