SPECIAL MEETING
WEDNESDAY 9:00 A.M. JULY 17, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Jim Brawner,
HA Project Coordinator; Ethan Pacewiczh, Real Estate Developer &
Brawner & Co.; via telephone - Allison C. Schwartzman, Foster Pepper
PLLC; Jeff Nave, Foster Pepper PLLC; Jennifer Ellis, Housing
Authority Executive Director and one member of the public.
SPECIAL MEETING HOUSING AUTHORITY UPDATE COMMISSIONERS
At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting to receive an
update from the Housing Authority regarding the Kittitas RAD
Affordable Housing Portfolio LLLP.
Allison C. Schwartzman, Foster Pepper PLLC gave background on the
process and explained what types of projects are eligible for
funding with the low income housing tax credit. She reviewed the
steps and timeline and explained how, why and when the County is
brought into the process and what their role is moving forward.
There was a roundtable question and answer opportunity covering
other projects that the Housing Authority is managing, timeline for
the Board to consider, a proposed Resolution, and expectations
moving forward for updates.
The meeting was adjourned 9:25 a.m.
