COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES

COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:50 A.M. JULY 15, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chair Brett
Wachsmith & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Mark Cook,
Public Works Director/Interim County Engineer; Lisa Young, HR
Director.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD HUMAN RESOURCES
Lisa Young, HR Director and Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim
County Engineer presented the Board with a PAF for them to consider
under the County Policy allowing for Special Compensation.
Director Cook stated that it was for the Department’s Traffic
Foreman who is performing bridge inspections in the interim of the
Engineer Services Manager. Policy allows a monthly stipend of equal
to 5% of the starting salary ($5,934) of the vacant position or
$297.00. He stated that the additional duties are being performed
from July through December.
Director Young stated that with some discussion it’s been determined
the other PAF aren’t ready to be considered at this time. She stated
that they needed to go to the Union and some different scenarios are
being considered.
The Board approved the PAF for Tim Kauzlarich, Traffic Foreman as
presented.
