08/12/2019 MINUTES 1
COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING

MONDAY 9:50 A.M. AUGUST 12, 2019

Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright & Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith. Excused: Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.

Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Taylor Crouch,
Deputy Clerk of the Board I; Jim Goeben, IT Director and Katrina
Mankus, Juvenile Court Administrator.

REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD JUVENILE PRO

Katrina Mankus, Juvenile Court Administrator presented the Board
with a quote from Tyler Technologies-CaseloadPRO. She stated that
the only program they have currently to manage their caseloads is
one developed by an employee and that employee is the only one who
can fix it. She stated that since the last update that program has
been down and on limited use and her employee that developed it
can’t fix it this time. It’s not going to be something they can
sustain long-term. She stated that she made calls to ask other
Juvenile Departments what they are using and pro’s and con’s and
those that were happy with their application to manage caseloads
were with CaseloadPRO. She stated that Judge Sparks is in support of
moving this direction and reviewed the costs involved, noting that
there is a $900.00 a month subscription fee.

The Board stated that they were in support of the request but
directed Ms. Mankus to find out of 3/10th funds could be used, and
then set up a follow up meeting to finish the discussion.

Meeting adjourned at 10:00 a.m.

KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON

Mandy Buchholz Cory Wright, Chairman
