COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM SPECIAL MEETING WEDNESDAY 8:30 A.M. AUGUST 28, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Patti Johnson, Solid
Waste Director/Project Manager and Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION SOLID WASTE
At 8:30 a.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting and announced
the Board would recess into Executive Session for 10 minutes with
Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Project Manager and Neil
Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor, to consider the selection of a site or
the acquisition of real estate by lease or purchase when public
knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a likelihood of
increased price. He said action was anticipated.
At 8:40 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
AGREEMENT PURCHASE & SALE – TRIPLE L, LLC SOLID WASTE
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve and authorize the Chairman
to sign a Real Estate Purchase and Sale Agreement between Triple L,
LLC and Kittitas County for Tax Parcel #529333, more commonly known
as portion of the north property line of Triple L Short Plat E-02-
01; PTN Lots 3 & 4, Ellensburg. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded.
Motion carried 3-0.
EARNEST MONEY TRIPLE L, LLC SOLID WASTE
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve and authorize expenditure in
the amount of $5,000.00 for earnest money relating to the Purchase
and Sale Agreement between Triple L, LLC and Kittitas County.
Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:41 a.m.
