COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:50 A.M. AUGUST 19, 2019
Board members present: Vice-Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Laura
Osiadacz, Commissioner. Excused: Chairman, Cory Wright.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Kady
Porterfield, KVEC Director; Kay Kresge, Financial Analyst.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD EVENT CENTER
Kady Porterfield, KVEC Director requested the Board to authorize her
to purchase the CDS Nissan pickup for the Event Center to use. She
stated that they are asking $7,000.00 and since the Event Center has
very limited access to working vehicles she felt this was a good
purchase.
The Board approved the request and directed Staff to work with the
Auditors Office to do a Budget Amendment.
The Board provided Ms. Porterfield a listing of KRD surplus
equipment that will be at the sale and encouraged her to reach out
to KRD if anything looked like it could be used at the KVEC.
Meeting adjourned at 10:00 a.m.
