2019-08-15 MINUTES 1  <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />FINANCE STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 108 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />THURSDAY 1:30 PM August 15, 2019 <br />Board members present: Commissioner Cory Wright and Commissioner Brett Wachsmith. <br />Commissioner Laura Osiadacz was absent. <br />Others: Amy Cziske, County Treasurer; Heather Seibert, Treasurer Finance Officer and Judy <br />Pless, Budget and Finance Manager. <br />The meeting was called to order at 1:30 p.m. <br />2018 YEAR END REPORTS <br />Judy Pless presented to the Board the 2018 year-end reports, which included the following: <br />General Fund Balance Sheet <br />General Fund Statement of Revenues, Expenditures and Changes in Fund Balance <br />GASB 54 revenue classifications <br />Fund Balance report - All funds <br /> <br />Pless stated the unassigned fund balance for the General Fund decreased by $63,421.87, but the <br />overall fund balance increased 1,273,646.74. Pless also mentioned that the Recreation Fund does <br />not meet the GASB 54 requirements, in 2020 will be moved into the General Fund. <br /> <br />BUDGET REPORTS <br />Pless presented the 2019 Budget reports for Revenues and Expense for all funds. <br /> <br />OPENGOV <br />Pless showed the Board the reporting process in OpenGov. Pless said she would like to have one <br />board member sit on a small committee to set up the website for the OpenGov reports on display. <br />No decision was made.
