2019-09-10 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONER’S AUDITORIUM (Change in location) SPECIAL MEETING TUESDAY 3:30 P.M. SEPTEMBER 10, 2019 <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright and Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith. Excused: Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board and Alison White, <br />Extension Agent. <br /> SPECIAL MEETING EXTENSION UPDATES EXTENSION <br />At 3:30 p.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting to receive a <br />quarterly update from the WSU Cooperative Extension office. <br /> <br />Alison White, Extension Agent provided information on the various <br />duties she performs as well as the programs they have been working <br />on since the last time they met with the Board. She provided a <br />general overview of the 4-H programs and the assistance they provide <br />to approximately 4,500 kids between Kittitas and Yakima Counties <br />along with hundreds of volunteers. The Extension office intends on <br />getting out more Press Releases to keep the community informed of <br />what’s going on with programs, opportunities, and assistance that <br />might be available.
