COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:40 A.M. OCTOBER 28, 2019
Board members present: Chairman, Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith; Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Dan Carlson,
CDS Director; Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD CDS
Dan Carlson, CDS Director briefed the Board on a Building Permit
Code error. He stated that there are some applications in line that
will be required to have sprinklers that that they didn’t previously
have to have due to code interpretation and he is expecting some
folks to be upset.
The Board thanked Dan for the update.
OTHER BUSINESS
Chairman Wright indicated that he wanted to follow up on the sign
issue in Thorp for the Fuel Station. He stated that he wants to
examine the Code Ordinance and propose new language to be considered
at a later date.
