COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY 10:30 A.M. OCTOBER 21, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I, Mark Cook, Public
Works Director/ Interim Engineer, Michelle Capp, Forest Service District
Ranger, and 1 member of the public.
SPECIAL MEETING RECREATION IN KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
At 10:37 a.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting to discuss
Recreation in Kittitas County.
Michelle Capp, Forest Service District Ranger, explained the Forest
Service’s efforts to look ahead at the Recreation in Kittitas County and
how to bring all the stake holders to the table. Ms. Capp explained
Human Ecology Mapping. She this practice will help to identify areas of
potential priority across the County and will be completed in January of
2020. Ms. Capp asked the Board to start considering the role the County
may play in the next coming years.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:03 a.m.
