COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:40 A.M. OCTOBER 21, 2019
Board members present: Chairman, Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith; Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Lisa Lawrence,
Solid Waste Assistant Director; Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the
Board I.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD SOLID WASTE
Lisa Lawrence, Solid Waste Assistant Director presented the Board
with a Purchase Contract for the 1991 Fleet Mobile Home; an
amendment with Call2Recycling for Chair signature; and a Resolution
authorizing Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Project Manager to
enter into a MOU with CWU for a Parking facility study.
CONTRACT 1991 FLEET MOBILE HOME SOLID WASTE
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to acknowledge Patti Johnson, Solid
Waste Director/Project Manager’s signature on a Purchase Contract
for a 1991 Fleet Mobile Home. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion
carried 3-0.
AMENDMENT CALL2RECYCLING SOLID WASTE
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve and authorize Chair
signature on an Amendment with Call2Recycling for battery recycling
as presented. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
RESOLUTION 2019-156 MOU BETWEEN CWU & KITTITAS CO. SOLID WASTE
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve Resolution 2019-156, a
Resolution Authorizing Entering into MOU with Central Washington
University for Parking Facility Study and Designating the County’s
Representative. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
