COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:50 A.M. NOVEMBER 4, 2019
Board members present: Chairman, Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith; Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner.
Others: Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; Lisa Young, HR
Director; Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim Engineer; Judy
Pless, Budget & Finance Manager; and 1 member of the public.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD HUMAN RECOURCES
Lisa Young, HR Director began explaining staffing changes in Public
Works. The Board asked to table this item for another meeting with
more time for discussion.
Lisa Young, HR Director explained the Leave Policy to the Board. The
Board agreed to stay with the 2004 contract regarding leave.
EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 10:10 a.m. Cory Wright announced the Board would recess into
Executive Session with Lisa Young, HR Director for 10 minutes for
pending litigation—RCW 42.30.110(i) To discuss with legal counsel
representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement
actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency
litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the
governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is
likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the
discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial
consequence to the agency. No action anticipated.
At 10:20 the Board recessed out of Executive Session. No action was
taken.
At 10:20 a.m. Cory Wright announced the Board would recess back into
Executive Session for 3 minutes for pending litigation—RCW
42.30.110(i) To discuss with legal counsel representing the agency
matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with
