COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM REGULAR MEETING MONDAY 9:00 A.M. NOVEMBER 4, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice Chairman Brett
Wachsmith & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I and Judy Pless,
Budget and Finance Manager
REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS
At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wright opened the Office Administration
meeting.
CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar.
PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County
vouchers & PAF’s.
CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence
Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week
ending November 1, 2019.
DISCUSSION SENIOR CENTER AGREEMENT COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to authorize permission for
Commissioner Wachsmith to work with the City of Ellensburg regarding
the Senior Center Agreement. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion
carried 3-0.
REQUEST PURCHASE OF CHAIRS COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve the purchase of 14 new
chairs for the BOCC Conference Room and BOCC Auditorium.
Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0.

LETTER BOARD SIGNATURE COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve Board signature on a Letter
to Department Heads/ Elected Officials regarding Board direction on
meeting materials being uploaded 24 hours in advance. Commissioner
Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. Commissioner Wachsmith will
follow-up with Jim Goben, IT Director to make changes to the CAMAS
process.
LETTER BOARD SIGNATURE COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve Board Signature on a letter
to Michelle Capp, USFS regarding Developing Road Connections from
DOT Creek to Neely Creek and from Grouse Springs to Liberty Beehive.
Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS
The Board determined that for the week of November 4, 2019 they
would share on their Facebook: Flood Awareness Month Proclamation,
recognition for Sheriff Dana, and that the Commissioner Budget
meetings are live streamed for people to view at home.
OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES
Each Commissioner may use this time to brief the Board on varying
topics and discussions they independently had throughout the
previous week.
