COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM SPECIAL MEETING FRIDAY 9:00 A.M. NOVEMBER 1, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright & Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith. Absent: Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Clayton Myers, Undersheriff;
Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; and 2 members of the public.
SPECIAL MEETING SHERIFF APPOINTMENT COMMISSIONERS
At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting to make an
appointment to the vacant position of the Kittitas County Sheriff.
Chairman Wright announced Clayton Myers was the only person who applied
by the deadline to be considered for appointment to the vacancy of
Kittitas County Sheriff.
APPOINTMENT CLAYTON MYERS – SHERIFF COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to appoint Clayton Myers to the vacancy of
Kittitas County Sheriff, effective immediately and expire upon
certification of the 2020 General Election – November 24, 2020.
Chairman Wright seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
FORM NOTICE OF APPROVAL TO HEAR PROPERTY TAX APPEALS COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve a Notice of Approval to Hear
Property Tax Appeals, per RCW 84.48.010. Chairman Wright seconded.
Motion carried 2-0.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:04 a.m.
