2. Fire and Life Safety Inspection Update
3. Executive Session - To evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment or
to review the performance of a public employee. However, subject to RCW 42.30.140(4),
discussion by a governing body of salaries, wages, and other conditions of employment to be
generally applied within the agency shall occur in a meeting open to the public, and when a
governing body elects to take final action hiring, setting the salary of an individual employee
or class of employees, or discharging or disciplining an employee, that action shall be taken
in a meeting open to the public.

MONDAY 1:30 PM October 28, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright, Vice -Chairman Brett
Wachsmith, and Laura Osiadacz

Meeting was called to order at 1:31 pm
Fire and Life Safety Inspection Update
Director Carlson briefed the board on the fire and life safety'
inspections that the Fire Marshal's office has been performing.
He was happy to report that to date, 1000 of inspections have
been completed.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION CDS
At 1:50 p.m. Chairman Wright opened the special meeting and
announced the Board would recess into Executive Session for 5
minutes to discuss with Human Resources, to evaluate the
qualifications of an applicant for public employment or to
review the performance of a public employee. No action was
anticipated.
At 1:55 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
No action taken.
The meeting was adjourned 1:55 p.m.
