COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:00 A.M. NOVEMBER 18, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice Chairman Brett
Wachsmith; Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Taylor
Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I and Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the
Board.
REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS
At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wright opened the Office Administration
meeting.
CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar.
PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County
vouchers & PAF’s.
CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence
Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week
ending November 15, 2019.
DISCUSSION BOCC OFFICE CLOSURE COMMISSIONERS
Staff proposed that the BoCC Office close on 12/20/2019 to allow
annual end of the year turn over, archiving and clean up. Staff was
directed to prepare enabling documents for the Board to consider.
LETTER APPOINT BRAD HABERMAN COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve and authorize Chair
signature on a letter to Brad Haberman appointing him to the KRD
Board of Directors Division No.5 effective 1/1/2020. Commissioner
Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS
11/18/2019 MINUTES 2
The Board determined that for the week of November 18, 2019 they
would share on their Facebook: the APA/PAW Award; Horse Park Funding
Project Video; Apple Maggot Grant Press Release.
OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES
Each Commissioner may use this time to brief the Board on varying
topics and discussions they independently had throughout the
previous week.
Staff was directed to set a Special Meeting with County Auditor
Jerry Pettit; Budget & Finance Manager Judy Pless and the Board to
discuss Budget Management Process & Discussion.
Meeting adjourned at 9:40 a.m.
