COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:00 A.M. DECEMBER 2, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice Chairman Brett
Wachsmith; Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Taylor
Crouch, Deputy Clerk I; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Patti
Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Project Manager.
REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS
At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wright opened the Office Administration
meeting.
CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar.
PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County
vouchers & PAF’s.
CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence
Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week
ending November 27, 2019 – due to the holiday.
DISCUSS LEGISLATIVE DAY IN UPPER COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Osiadacz questioned if the Board had any interest in
presenting at Legislative Day on 12/16/19 in Upper County.
Commissioner Wachsmith and Chairman Wright were both in support of
Commissioner Osiadacz taking the lead. She stated that she would
send staff last year’s presentation for the Commissioners to
consider for additions and or edits.
LETTER LTAC REIMBURSEMENTS COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve and authorize Commissioner
Osiadacz’s signature on Letters to Mayor Hals (Roslyn), Mayor
McGowan (Cle Elum), Mayor Tabb (Ellensburg)regarding the Legislative
Action for LTAC Reimbursements as presented. Chairman Wright
seconded. Motion carried 3-0.

ACKNOWLEDGE CRYSTAL CLEAR – SHADY BROOK SNOW PLOW SOLID WASTE
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to acknowledge Patti Johnson, Solid
Waste Director/Project Manager’s signature on a contract with
Crystal Clear Custom Services for snow removal services at Shady
Brook. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS
The Board determined that for the week of December 2, 2019 they
would share on their Facebook: the Proclamations for 12-10-19
Ellensburg High School Girls Cross Country Team 2A State Champions
Day and Proclamation for 12-13-19 – Leah Holmgren Day as well as a
winter driving safety reminder.
OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES
Each Commissioner may use this time to brief the Board on varying
topics and discussions they independently had throughout the
previous week.
Meeting adjourned at 9:40 a.m.
