COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY 3:30 P.M. NOVEMBER 25, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright and Commissioner Laura
Osiadacz. Excused: Vice-Chairman Brett Wachsmith.
Others: Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim Engineer; Judy
Pless, Budget and Finance Manager; and Heather Siebert, Finance
Officer.
PUBLIC HEARING PROPERTY TAX AUDITOR
At 3:30 p.m. CHAIRMAN WRIGHT opened the Public Hearing continued
from October 7th, 2019 to consider possible tax increases for Tax
Levy Rates and amount for the Taxes Levied in 2019 to be collected
in 2020 for the General Fund, County Road and the Flood Control
District.
JUDY PLESS, BUDGET AND FINANCE MANAGER provided an overview of the
General Fund and the 1% levy rate increase. Ms. Pless provided an
overview for the County Road Fund and the proposed Levy rates. Ms.
Pless provided an overview for the Flood Control District Fund and
the proposed levy rates. The Flood Control Zone Advisory Committee
recommended raising the levy rates based on current projects.
THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED.
RESOLUTION 2019-175 GENERAL TAX LEVY AUDITOR
COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2019-175 for
Levying Taxes for the General Tax Levy for municipal purposes of
Kittitas County, Washington for the year 2020 according to the
assessed valuation as determined in the year 2019. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
RESOLUTION 2019-176 FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT LEVY AUDITOR
COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2019-176 for
Levying Taxes for the County Flood Control Zone District for
municipal purposes of Kittitas County, Washington for the year 2020
according to the assessed valuation as determined in the year 2019. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
RESOLUTION 2019-177 COUNTY ROAD LEVY AUDITOR

COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2019-177 for
Levying Taxes for the County Road for municipal purposes of Kittitas
County, Washington for the year 2020 according to the assessed
valuation as determined in the year 2019. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT
seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
