COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:00 A.M. NOVEMBER 25, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Commissioner Laura
Osiadacz. Excused: Vice Chairman Brett Wachsmith.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II.
REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS
At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wright opened the Office Administration
meeting.
CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar.
PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County
vouchers & PAF’s.
CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence
Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week
ending November 22, 2019.
RESOLUTION 2019-179 COMPLETE COUNT 2020 CENSUS COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve and authorize Board signature
on Resolution No. 2019-179, Regarding Complete Count Committee for
the 2020 Census. Chairman Wright seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
RESOLUTION 2019-178 BOCC OFFICE CLOSURE COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve and authorize Board signature
on Resolution No. 2019-178, Authorizing the Closure of the Kittitas
County Board of Commissioners Office on 12/20/2019. Chairman Wright
seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
DISCUSSION I-90 EAST BRIEF COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Osiadacz presented an updated I-90 East briefing for
the Board to consider approving. She highlighted the changes and
explained that she is hopeful it will help drive conversations

outlining the County’s position on the impact and importance of the
project. Chairman Wright stated that it was a good document and he
had no issues with it being shared.
The document was approved as presented.
RATIFY GCBH RESOLUTION #20-01 COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Osiadacz moved to ratify Vice-Chairman Wachsmith’s
signature on Resolution #20-01 for the Greater Columbia Behavioral
Health, LLC ASO in the matter of Adoption of the Greater Columbia
Behavioral Health, LLC BH-ASO Calendar Year January – December 2020
Budget. Chairman Wright seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS
The Board determined that for the week of November 25, 2019 they
would share on their Facebook: highlights from the WSAC Conference
they attended in Spokane the week of 11-18-19; crosswalk safety
reminder and also to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES
Each Commissioner may use this time to brief the Board on varying
topics and discussions they independently had throughout the
previous week.
