COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:40 A.M. DECEMBER 9, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Arden Thomas,
WRP Manager; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD PUBLIC WORKS
Arden Thomas, WRP Manager presented final closing documents for the
purchase of Parcel #508933. She stated that the Board had previously
signed Resolution 2019-154, Ratifying Purchase and Sale Agreement
and Authorizing Chairman’s signature on Closing Documents and
Authorizing the Director of Public Works to Execute the Grant
Agreement. She stated today’s documents have been authorized and
they should be moving everything along very quickly. She stated that
the Flood Plains by design group is very excited about getting this
project completed so quickly, and this venue allows for the Chair
and the BoCC Notary to sign documents at the same time for tracking
purposes.
CLOSING DOCUMENTS TRUST FOR PUBLIC LAND PUBLIC WORKS
Commissioner Wachsmith moved to authorize Chair signature on Final
Closing Documents with the Trust for Public Land for Purchase of
Parcel #508933 as presented. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion
carried 3-0.
