COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 10:00 A.M. DECEMBER 16, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith. Excused - Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Taylor Crouch,
Deputy Clerk of the Board I; Dan Carlson, CDS Director.
REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD CDS
Dan Carlson, CDS Director indicated that the application IT was
developing for the Capital Improvement Program isn’t working for
what’s needed and there have been many setbacks. He proposed
compiling a group of Department Heads who have property in the
County and manage it that way. He stated that it would allow for the
Board to have a more forward thinking plan moving forward and it’s
probably our biggest downfall currently in our Comp Plan.
Chairman Wright stated that it was his understanding of the request
that the current process be scrapped and set up the group to be
ready to meet and do the work in the first have of 2020.
Mr. Carlson stated that was correct.
The Board gave their approval to move forward as presented.
