COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONER’S AUDITORIUM SPECIAL MEETING MONDAY 2:00 P.M. DECEMBER 30, 2019
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; Mark Cook, Public
Works Director/Interim Engineer; Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor; and 8
members of the public.
SPECIAL MEETING AIRPORT LEASE DISCUSSION PUBLIC WORKS
At 2:05 p.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting to discuss Airport
Leases with Public Works and Legal Counsel.
Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim County Engineer presented and
reviewed with the Board the old Airport leases and the proposed new
leases. The Board had the opportunity to ask Mr. Cook and Mr. Caulkins
questions round-table style regarding the proposed lease changes.
There was direction to Staff to review and revise Sections 7 and 22 of
the current leases. Final lease to be reviewed at a later date.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:59 p.m.
