01/10/20 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM SPECIAL MEETING FRIDAY 2:00 P.M. JANUARY 10, 2020 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chair Laura <br />Osiadacz, and Commissioner Cory Wright <br /> <br />Others: Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; Mark Cook, <br />Public Works Director/Interim Engineer, and 1 member of the public. <br /> DISCUSSION PUBLIC FACILITIES AWARD PUBLIC WORKS <br />At 2:00 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a follow-up Special Meeting <br />to discuss with County Staff the Public Facilities Awards. <br /> <br />Director Cook reviewed with the Board the requested full audit on <br />unclaimed COG awards since the fund was over-awarded. <br /> <br />The Board discussed options and priorities moving forward. <br /> <br />The Board directed Director Cook to amend the upcoming COG Agenda to <br />add Remand 2020 Recommendations for Funding. The Board will remand <br />the funding decisions back to COG, along with a Staff Report and <br />cover letter, provided by Director Cook, explaining to COG the <br />Board’s priorities. <br /> DISCUSSION RENTAL STRUCTURE UPDATE PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />Director Cook updated the Board on the mobile office from Pacifica <br />Mobile Structures for the Airport Manager. <br /> OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright updated the Board and Director Cook on the <br />Airport Manager interviews that were held earlier this week. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 2:41 p.m. <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD I KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> Taylor Crouch Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />
