COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM SPECIAL MEETING FRIDAY 2:00 P.M. JANUARY 10, 2020
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chair Laura
Osiadacz, and Commissioner Cory Wright
Others: Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I; Mark Cook,
Public Works Director/Interim Engineer, and 1 member of the public.
DISCUSSION PUBLIC FACILITIES AWARD PUBLIC WORKS
At 2:00 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a follow-up Special Meeting
to discuss with County Staff the Public Facilities Awards.
Director Cook reviewed with the Board the requested full audit on
unclaimed COG awards since the fund was over-awarded.
The Board discussed options and priorities moving forward.
The Board directed Director Cook to amend the upcoming COG Agenda to
add Remand 2020 Recommendations for Funding. The Board will remand
the funding decisions back to COG, along with a Staff Report and
cover letter, provided by Director Cook, explaining to COG the
Board’s priorities.
DISCUSSION RENTAL STRUCTURE UPDATE PUBLIC WORKS
Director Cook updated the Board on the mobile office from Pacifica
Mobile Structures for the Airport Manager.
OTHER BUSINESS
Commissioner Wright updated the Board and Director Cook on the
Airport Manager interviews that were held earlier this week.
Meeting adjourned at 2:41 p.m.
