COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY 3:00 P.M. JANUARY 6, 2020
Board members present: Commissioner Cory Wright; Commissioner
Brett Wachsmith, Commissioner and Commissioner Paul Jewell.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Mark Cook,
Public Works Director/Interim County Engineer; Bill Clarke and
Peter Dykstra, Special Appointed Deputy Prosecutors/County
lobbyist.
SPECIAL MEETING MEETING WITH BILL CLARKE COMMISSIONERS
At 3:00 p.m. Commissioner Cory Wright opened a Special Meeting
to discuss with the County’s Lobbyists Bill Clarke and Peter
Dykstra the BoCC’s 2020 Legislative Session Priorities.
The Board reviewed their Legislative Priorities for 2020 (list
attached) and discussed the best approaches with their lobbyist
to achieve the most successful outcome.
OTHER BUSINESS –
Commissioner Wright & Mr. Dykstra provided an update on the
County’s Water Banking program.
Commissioner Wright also updated Mr. Clarke and Mr. Dykstra
onrecent updates regarding the airport between the County & CWU.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
