COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. JANUARY 21, 2020
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith and Commissioner
Cory Wright. Absent: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Lacie Dawson, Program
Coordinator and 1 member of the public.
PUBLIC HEARING EVENT CENTER FEES EVENT CENTER
At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH opened a Public Hearing to consider
Amendments to Fees of the Kittitas Valley Event Center Rental and
Use Fee Schedule.
LACIE DAWSON, PROGRAM COORDINATOR explained the proposed rates were
based on the improved presentation of rates based off rounding up to
the whole dollar amounts. The rate changes also reflect changes to
their RV program by allowing a discount for the customers that
manage their own RV bookings.
THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED.
RESOLUTION 2020-012 EVENT CENTER FEES EVENT CENTER
COMMISSIONER WRIGHT moved to approve Resolution No. 2020-012,
Adopting Amendments to Fees of the Kittitas Valley Event Center
Rental and Use Fee Schedule. CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH seconded. Motion
carried 2-0.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:05 p.m.
