Rich Elliot moved to approve the November 13, 2019 Board of Health meeting minutes <br />as presented. John Asriel second. All approved. Motion 12-01 carried to approve the November <br />13, 2019 Board of Health meeting minutes as presented. <br />Public Comment <br />Public Comment open at 10:32 am. <br />Public Comment closed at 10:32 am. <br />Department updates <br />Health Officer Update <br />Dr. Mark Larson stepped to the microphone and gave a brief update influenza and influenza -like illnesses <br />in Kittitas County. Influenza B has been the primary type of flu diagnosed, and most schools in the <br />county have between 15-18% absentee rates due to illness. Kittitas School District currently has 20% of <br />children absent due to illness. Dr. Larson noted there is a possible measles case in a 2 -year-old, and lab <br />results will be in later that day. There were questions from the board regarding illnesses and vaccination <br />rates. <br />
