COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:00 A.M. FEBRUARY 3, 2020
Board members present: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz & Commissioner
Cory Wright. Excused: Chairman Brett Wachsmith.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II.
REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS
At 9:00 a.m. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz opened the Office Administration
meeting.
CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar.
PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County
vouchers & PAF’s.
CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence
Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week
ending January 31st, 2020.
APPOINTMENT PLANNING COMMISSION COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Wright moved to Appoint Michael Lundin to the County
Planning Commission Dist.#3 for a four-year term effective
immediately, noting his term would end 12/31/20, noting he is
completing a former members term. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz seconded.
Motion carried 2-0.
DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS
The Board determined for the week of February 3, 2020 that they
would share on their Facebook an update regarding the Corona Virus
if the results are back; Flooding Press Release from the Sheriff’s
Office and the announcement of the Ground Breaking of Spurling
Place.

Each Commissioner may use this time to brief the Board on varying
topics and discussions they independently had throughout the
previous week.
Commissioner Wright questioned if Commissioner Osiadacz had any
thoughts on who would be a good mentor for the new Airport Manager.
Commissioner Osiadacz thought Patti Johnson, SW Director/Project
Manager/Interim Maintenance Director, would be. She stated that she
has a lot of experience dealing with all types of people and
scenarios and does a good job navigating through the County process.
