COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY 8:00 A.M. MARCH 9, 2020
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chairman
Laura Osiadacz, and Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board.
SPECIAL MEETING PROJECT GOALS COMMISSIONERS
At 8:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting to review
project priorities and goals at the airport.
The Board went over some direction and priorities they’d like to see
at the airport and projects for the new Airport Manager. According
to Commissioner Wright, Mr. West had prepared a list of items and
the Board felt they should narrow it down, so it is more focused
according to priorities. For instance, it is critical to have both
runways up and running. They will also be asking Mr. West to put
completion dates alongside the list of projects.
The Board also discussed the possibility of having a Commissioner
sit on the Airport Advisory Committee and Chair the meetings.
Meeting adjourned at 8:30 a.m.
