COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM
REGULAR MEETING
MONDAY 9:00 A.M. MARCH 16, 2020
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz & Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Julie
Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the
Board I; David Houseberg, Corporal; Ben Kokjer, Chief Deputy.
REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS
At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened the Office Administration
meeting.
CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar.
PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County
vouchers & PAF’s.
CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS
The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence
Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week
ending March 13, 2020.
RATIFY COPS OFFICE AWARD APP COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve and ratify the Chair’s
Signature on the COPS Office Award Application, as presented.
Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
REAPPOINT ROB PERKINS – HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Osiadacz moved to reappoint Dr. Robert Perkins, for a
five-year term to the Kittitas County Housing Authority, effective
April 7, 2020 noting that his new term would end 04/06/2026.
Commissioner Wright seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
DISCUSSION FACEBOOK WEEKLY POSTS COMMISSIONERS
3/16/2020 MINUTES 2
The Board determined for the week of March 16, 2020 that they would
share on their Facebook reminders about being good neighbors to the
citizens of Kittitas County and share the Proclamation Declaring
April 2020 as National County Government Month.
OTHER BUSINESS/GENERAL UPDATES
Each Commissioner may use this time to brief the Board on varying
topics and discussions they independently had throughout the
previous week.
