COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM SPECIAL MEETING
MONDAY 8:00 A.M. MARCH 18, 2020
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chairman
Laura Osiadacz, and Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Judy Pless, Budget &
Finance Manager; Susan Grindle, HopeSource Executive Director;
Tristen Lamb, Public Health Administrator; and 2 members of the
public.
SPECIAL MEETING COVID-19 HOUSING GRANT COMMISSIONERS
At 8:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting to consider
a Washington State COVID-19 Outbreak Emergency Housing Grant with
Public Health.
Tristen Lamb, Public Health Administrator, provided information on
the Grant Guidelines and said Dr. Larson had approved of it. She
felt it was a good plan for now, but noted they did add a timeline.
MOTION COVID-19 HOUSING GRANT COMMISSIONERS
Commissioner Osiadacz moved to approve accepting funds from the
Washington State Department of Commerce, COVID-19 Outbreak Emergency
Housing Grant Guidelines, dated March 15, 2020. Commissioner Wright
seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
At 8:12 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess
into Executive Session for 10 minutes to consider matters affecting
national security. No action was anticipated.
At 8:17 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action was taken.
At 8:17 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess
back into Executive Session for 15 minutes to consider matters
affecting national security. No action was anticipated.
At 8:32 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action was taken.
