COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM
EMERGENCY SPECIAL MEETING
WEDNESDAY 3:30 P.M. MARCH 18, 2020
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; (By Phone:
Neil Caulkins, Chief Civil Deputy Prosecutor; Clay Myers, Sheriff);
Tristen Lamb, Public Health Administrator; Dr. Mark Larson, Public
Health Official.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 3:30 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting and
announced the Board would recess into an Executive Session for 30
minutes to consider matters affecting national security. No action
was anticipated.
At 4:00 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action taken.
OTHER BUSINESS COMMISSIONERS
The Board amended their motion from this morning’s Special Meeting
as follows: Commissioner Osiadacz moved to amend the Board’s motion
from their Special Meeting at 8:00 a.m. Wednesday March 18th, 2020,
to decline the contract offer for the Dept. Of Commerce Grant and to
allow it to go directly to HopeSource. Commissioner Wright seconded.
Motion carried 3-0.
Meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
