COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM
EMERGENCY SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 3:00 P.M. MARCH 17, 2020
Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz and Commissioner Cory Wright.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Neil
Caulkins, Chief Civil Deputy Prosecutor at 3:47 p.m. Lisa Young, HR
Director; Judy Pless, Budget and Finance Director joined the
meeting.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 3:03 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting and
announced the Board would recess into an Executive Session for 5
minutes to Consider matters affecting national security. No action
was anticipated.
At 3:08 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action taken.
At 3:08 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess
back into Executive Session for 10 minutes to consider matters
affecting national security. No action was anticipated.
At 3:18 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action was taken.
At 3:18 p.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess
back into Executive Session for 42 minutes to consider matters
affecting national security. No action was anticipated.
At 4:00 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. Lisa
Young, HR Director and Judy Pless, Budget and Finance Director were
directed to formulate a payroll response for County Staff.
Meeting adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
