RE: Proposed Amendment to Professional Service Agreement
To Whom It May Concern::
In light of the current situation with the Covid-19 virus, and the closure of schools, restaurants, banks, and other public spaces in order to implement social distancing for the safety
of ourselves and others, I am proposing to work with the client I am providing SSODA services to via video conferencing. It is neither proper nor ethical, in my view, to charge full
rate for this method of providing treatment. Therefore I would like to propose a reduced rate of just over one-half the usual payment rate of $85 per 50 minute session, to $45. I plan
to keep track of how long the video conferencing is able to be productive, with sustained attention between myself and the client. If it appears that attention is flagging, we will only
meet for 30 minutes. I propose $27 for a half an hour session.
Please let me know if that will be acceptable to the County’s Juvenile Court Services. I hope to begin by the end of this week, or next week at the latest.
