AGENDA DATE: March 17, 2020
ACTION REQUESTED: Approve a Resolution to Authorize the Pre-Sale of Family Fair
Packages for the Kittitas County Fair
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Fair Board would like to offer the same presale
Family Fair Package for the upcoming Fair(s) as they did in 2019.
The proposed Family Fair Package would again include four (4) General
Admission Day Passes, two (2) Pay One Price Ride Vouchers, and one
(1) Daily Parking Pass. The retail value of this package is $120. The
presale package rate would be $90.
The Fair Board’s marketing goal is to have only 100 package vouchers
available for purchase to create buying urgency.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Fair Board has approved the recommended Family
Fair Package.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Commissioners approve the Resolution to
authorize offering the Family Fair Package at a discounted rate as
described.
