KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: March 3, 2020 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge a Memorandum Of Agreement <br />(MOA) between Comprehensive Healthcare and Kittitas County Sheriffs Office to <br />collaborate in improving population health. <br />BACKGROUND: This MOA sets out the terms by which the Kittitas County Jail <br />commits to supporting Comprehensive Healthcare with conducting a Hub and Spoke <br />model of interventions to increase the use of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for <br />individuals who use/abuse opioids. Kittitas County Jail will operate as one of the Spokes <br />referring inmates to the Hub for screening and services. <br />INTERACTION: This agreement was reviewed and approved by the Kittitas County <br />Prosecutor's Office. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge a Memorandum Of Agreement <br />(MOA) between Comprehensive Healthcare and Kittitas County Sheriff's Office to <br />collaborate in improving population health. <br />HANDLING: No Handling. <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff <br />
