AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: March 3, 2020
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge a Memorandum Of Agreement
(MOA) between Comprehensive Healthcare and Kittitas County Sheriffs Office to
collaborate in improving population health.
BACKGROUND: This MOA sets out the terms by which the Kittitas County Jail
commits to supporting Comprehensive Healthcare with conducting a Hub and Spoke
model of interventions to increase the use of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for
individuals who use/abuse opioids. Kittitas County Jail will operate as one of the Spokes
referring inmates to the Hub for screening and services.
INTERACTION: This agreement was reviewed and approved by the Kittitas County
Prosecutor's Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge a Memorandum Of Agreement
(MOA) between Comprehensive Healthcare and Kittitas County Sheriff's Office to
collaborate in improving population health.
