KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: March 3rd, 2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve and sign a Resolution Authorizing a Change in Membership of the Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The HAHC is a 9-member committee with 4 designated spots reserved for specific members of the Community. This Resolution enables the Committee to switch from a Kittitas County <br />Representative, historically held by a public health employee, to now a Representative from the City of Cle Elum. The City of Cle Elum has noticed an uptake in Homelessness around their <br />community and the City has designated a Council member to sit on the Committee to address the issue. Kittitas County will still have a seat on the Committee as the BOCC Representative <br />chairs the Committee. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Committee voted for the membership change unanimously on January 31st, 2020.
