ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Authorize Kittitas Valley Event
Center Facility Fee Waivers for Kittitas County 4-H
BACKGROUND: KVEC has an interest in providing the facilities for the activities and
events produced by Kittitas County 4-H Program as it holds a significant
benefit to enhancing the leadership and development of our local youth.
Those enhancements in turn directly impact and better the experiences of
the annual Kittitas County Fair while also elevating the amount of youth
participation.
These waivers and discounts of fees are pre-negotiated and agreed upon
in a facility use contract with WSU Extension and approved by the
Kittitas Valley Event Center Director. This is a long-standing agreement
that we want to see bound by resolution. Kittitas County 4-H is an integral
part of the KVEC and Kittitas County Fair identity.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve Resolution to authorize facility fee waivers for the
Ellensburg Rodeo Posse.
