KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 18th, 2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve and sign a PSA with HopeSource for the Complete Count Committee in the amount not to exceed $34,700.00. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: HopeSource was recommended to the BOCC by the HAHC to carry out the duties of the 2020 Census Complete Count Committee on 10/25/19. Resolution 2019-179 authorized and funded <br />this action. Upon approval of Resolution 2020-______ Resolution 2019-179 was rescinded. This PSA enables the County to Subcontract the duties of OFM Contract No. K3012 to HopeSource <br />for the 2020 Complete Count Committee. This PSA holds the Subcontractor (HopeSource) to the same standards set in the OFM Contract No. K3012 that the County (Contractor) is responsible <br />for. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Kittitas County’s Deputy Prosecuting Attorney has drafted this PSA between Kittitas County and HopeSource. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve and sign the PSA awarding funding for HopeSource to carry out the functions of the 2020 Census Complete Count Committee and not to exceed the amount of $34,700.00. <br /> <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Original -- HopeSource <br /> Copy – Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee <br /> Copy – Auditor’s Office <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Professional Services Agreement <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Taylor Crouch, Clerk <br /> Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
