AGENDA DATE: February 18th, 2020
ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve and sign Resolution Authorizing the Rescision of Resolution No. 2019-179 and Enacting a new Resolution Pertaining
to Funding the Complete Count Committee for the 2020 Census and sign the Interlocal Agreement OFM Contract No. K3012.
BACKGROUND: HopeSource was recommended to the BOCC by the HAHC to perform the duties of the Census Complete Count Committee on October 25th, 2019. Resolution 2019-179 authorized this
and enabled HopeSource to have funding through the Homelessness fund for up to $20,000.00. After the Resolution was signed, the State of Washington, Office of Financial Management notified
Kittitas County that they were willing to enter into an interlocal agreement #OFM Contract No. K3012 with the County to fund the Complete Count Committee. This interlocal agreement is
attached to the Resolution. This Resolution authorizes the BOCC to execute the interlocal agreement OFM Contract No. K3012 and rescinds Resolution 2019-179.
INTERACTION: Kittitas County’s Deputy Prosecuting Attorney has drafted this Resolution.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve and sign Resolution and the attached Interlocal Agreement OFM Contract No. K3012.
