ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge 2020 Cooperative Law Enforcement
Agreement #I 9 -LE- 11061700-009 between the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office and the
US Forest Service, Okanogan -Wenatchee National Forest.
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office has worked with the US Forest
Service for several years. The purpose of this agreement is to document a cooperative
effort between the parties to enhance State and local law enforcement in connection with
activities on National Forest Service lands and provide for reimbursement to the Kittitas
County Sheriffs Office.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and
approved.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge 2020 Cooperative Law Enforcement
Agreement #19 -LE -11061700-009 between the Kittitas County Sheriffs Office and the
US Forest Service, Okanogan -Wenatchee National Forest.
HANDLING: Return originals to the Sheriff Office for signature from USFS. Sheriff's
Office will provide an original to the BOCC.
