Kittitas County <br />Board of County Commissioners <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />Agenda Date: <br />February 4, 2020 <br /> <br />Action Requested: <br />Request to Approve and Authorize the Chairman to sign a Sales Agreement with <br />Copiers Northwest for a Lease on a new copier Model imageRUNNER ADVANCE <br />C55600i III and an Equipment Removal Form with the Kittitas County Board of <br />Commissioners office. <br /> <br /> <br />Background: <br />Currently the Commissioner’s office has a Canon Copier C7270 serial #LVX01178 <br />that was purchased in January of 2014. The copier has been experiencing some <br />mechanical issues along with some down time, and it needs to be updated and <br />replaced. In the past we have purchased the machines, but during the 2020 <br />budget process it was authorized to lease a new copier. <br /> <br />The machine we have settled on is an imageRUNNER ADVANCE C55600i III with <br />a value of $11,036.00 less $500.00 for the trade in of the existing machine for a <br />total value of $10,536.00. The cost to lease the new machine for 48 months is <br />$260.61 plus $21.63 tax for a total monthly payment of $282.24. <br /> <br />The Auditor’s office and the Commissioners office usually purchase the same <br />model machine so the offices can share like machines if one of the machines are <br />down.
