Action Requested:
Request to Approve and Authorize the Chairman to sign a Sales Agreement with
Copiers Northwest for a Lease on a new copier Model imageRUNNER ADVANCE
C55600i III and an Equipment Removal Form with the Kittitas County Board of
Commissioners office.
Background:
Currently the Commissioner’s office has a Canon Copier C7270 serial #LVX01178
that was purchased in January of 2014. The copier has been experiencing some
mechanical issues along with some down time, and it needs to be updated and
replaced. In the past we have purchased the machines, but during the 2020
budget process it was authorized to lease a new copier.
The machine we have settled on is an imageRUNNER ADVANCE C55600i III with
a value of $11,036.00 less $500.00 for the trade in of the existing machine for a
total value of $10,536.00. The cost to lease the new machine for 48 months is
$260.61 plus $21.63 tax for a total monthly payment of $282.24.
The Auditor’s office and the Commissioners office usually purchase the same
model machine so the offices can share like machines if one of the machines are
down. The anticipated installation date of the new copier is scheduled for
February 20 or 21, 2020.
Recommendation:
Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign the Sales Agreement to lease the
imageRUNNER ADVANCE C55600i III; initial the terms and conditions; and sign
the Customer Owned Equipment Removal Form.
