KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 4th, 2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve the Resolution Authorizing the Execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement with the City of Ellensburg for <br />Animal Shelter Services for year 2020. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The City of Ellensburg approved the interlocal agreement <br />and brought it forward for County approval. Prosecutor's <br />Office drafted a resolution authorizing approval for the <br />Interlocal Agreement. Agreement is for $56,043 allocated <br />to the Animal Shelter. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Agreement was previously approved by the <br />Prosecutors office, and the budget amount has been verified <br />with Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize the Board to sign an Agreement <br />between Kittitas County and the City of Ellensburg to <br />provide $56,043 for Animal Shelter Services for the year <br />2020. <br /> <br />HANDLING: 1 - Copy Clerk of the Board <br />1- Original – City of Ellensburg, Beth Leader <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Interlocal Agreement Between the City of Ellensburg and <br />Kittitas County for Animal Shelter Services. <br /> <br /> A Resolution Authorizing Execution of an ILA for Animal <br />Shelter Services <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Taylor Crouch, Deputy Clerk of the Board I. <br />
