ACTION REQUESTED: Resolution to Approve Ticket Discounts for the Annual Patriot Night
Under the Lights Concert
BACKGROUND: Patriot Night Under the Lights hosts a concert as the headline event on
the 4th of July. Concert ticket prices will be established based on the
annual cost-analysis of the event. People who purchase tickets desire
opportunities to purchase them online before the event date. The Event
Center also benefits from offering this option and therefore would like to
incentivize those early purchases. It is customary and reasonable to offer
a discounted price for pre-sale orders of this nature. We would like to
offer a $5.00 discount for pre-sale online ticket orders.

RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approving the resolution for ticket discounts for the
annual Patriot Night Under the Lights concert of July 4, 2020.
