BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2020-_______ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE TICKET DISCOUNTS FOR THE ANNUAL PATRIOT NIGHT <br />UNDER THE LIGHTS CONCERT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Kittitas Valley Event Center Director has the authority to establish the various rates, <br />discounts, packages, policies, and procedures pertaining to the Patriot Night Under the <br />Lights event held at the Kittitas Valley Event Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners has the authority to ratify such <br />decisions by resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, Patriot Night Under the Lights includes a concert as the main event in which tickets are <br />sold; and <br />WHEREAS, concert ticket prices will be established based on an annual cost-analysis of the Patriot <br />Night Under the Lights event; and <br />WHEREAS, event attendees desire to purchase tickets online before the event date; and <br />WHEREAS, the Event Center benefits from the option of having pre-sale concert tickets available at a <br />discount to incentivize event attendees to purchase ahead of time; and <br />WHEREAS, it is customary and reasonable to offer a discounted price for pre-sale orders; and <br />WHEREAS, the Event Center recommends a five dollar ($5.00) discount for pre-sale online ticket <br />orders; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, <br />Washington, hereby adopts the online pre-sale concert ticket discount detailed herein; and <br />DATED this __________ day of ____________________, 2020, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Vice-Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />_____________________________ <br />☐ Clerk of the Board <br />☐ Deputy Clerk of the Board
